Diana Moraru (1988) was born in Bucharest, Romania and started her musical education with piano at age of 6 in the Elementary Music School in Bucharest. At age of 10 she started taking private guitar lessons with prof. Eugen Mang. During 2002 -2006 she studied at the ”George Enescu” Music High School in Bucharest, guitar classes of Liviu Georgescu, Catalin Stefanescu and George Popescu.
Between 2006 – 2013 she is pursuing her studies at the Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität, class of Mag. Jorgos Panetsos, where she completed a BA and MA of Arts Degrees in Classical Guitar.

Diana has successfully participated in several national and international competitions.: 1st Prize –„George Georgescu“ - Tulcea, Romania 2003 , 1st Prize – “Alba-Iulia” , Alba – Iulia, Romania 2003 , 2nd Prize – „International Festival Sinaia”, Romania 2003, 3rd Prize and Scholarship in Teneriffe – “Andreas Segovia”, Velbert, Germany 2004, Special Prize of the Romanian Foundation for Classical Guitar – “International Festival Sinaia”, Sinaia, Romania 2004.

Diana took several masterclasses with: Costin Canellis (Israel); Alfred Eickholt (Germany); Giampaolo Bandini (Italy); Zoran Dukic (Croatia); Thomas Offermann (Germany); Costas Cotsiolis (Greece); Thomas Kirchhoff (Germany); Susana Prieto (Spain); Marcin Dylla (Poland); Michael Tröster (Germany).

Since 2000, Diana has given solo and chamber musical performances. In 2004 she played on the Romanian Atheneum stage, as a laureat of the “International Festival Sinaia”, Romania. She has also been invited to play in festivals like: “Fiesta de la Guitarra” - Tartu/ Estonia 2007, “XVI Rapla Kirikmuusika Festival” 2008, Estonia, 37th International ESTA Congress 2009, Vienna, Austria.

Since 2012, she has been working with HaHaHa Production – a famous Romanian music production company, as a artist/ composer/ songwriter.
