Biography
Valetta is a young talented pianist (Barcelona,1988) with a high experience like a performer (soloist, chamber music and with orchestra). She began her musical studies at the age of eight. At the age of eleven, she started her studies at the Conservatory of Music in Barcelona, where she obtained the Graduation Prize in both piano and chamber music. Currently she is studying with Stanislav Pochekin at the Conservatory of Liceo in Barcelona.
She has won several prizes at national and international competitions: the Best Pianists Prize of the State of Spain at the Intercentros Competition in Madrid, 1st Prize and a Special Prize at the International Competition 'Ricard Viñes' in Lleida, 1st Prize at the International Competition 'Ciudad de San Sebastian', 1st Prize at the Young Performers 'Ciutat de Xàtiva' in Valencia, 1st Prize at the International Competition 'Ciutat de Carlet' in Valencia, 1st Prize at the Chamber Music and Piano Competition 'Ciutat de Manresa', 1st Prize and the Prize of the Catalan Association of Composers at the International Competition 'Ciutat de Berga', 1st Prize at the International Competition for Young Performers in Catalonia, 2nd Prize at the 'Marisa Montiel' Competition in Jaén, 3rd Prize at the Chopin Competition in Rome.
Valetta has performed as a soloist and as a member of chamber ensemble in Spain, France, Germany and Italy. Soon in October she will make her debut in the prestigious concert hall Palau de la Música Catalana of Barcelona.
At the inauguration of the new auditorium of the Liceu's Consevatory, she performed with orchestra under the direction of Guerassim Voronkov. She performed with the Nova Amadeus Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Nicola Samale in Italy. She has also appeared on newspapers and radios in France, Germany, on the RAI Television in Italy and Spain Television.
