Born in 1985 in Valencia, Spain, she starts her musical studies in La Vall D'Uixó (Castellón, Spain), with Nicole Frei. In 2006 she receives the extraordinary award of medium studies in music and she graduates with honours in the "Conservatorio Superior de Música de Aragón" (Spain) having studied with Mayte García, David Apellániz and Angel Luís Quintana. She has participated in several masterclasses with very well-known teachers like Michal Dmochowsky, José Enrique Bouché, Álvaro Campos, Damián Martínez, Lluís Claret, Herre Jan Stegenga, Monique Bartels, Anner Bylsma, Dmitry Ferschtmann, Cristoph Coin, Marie Hallynck, Bárbara Switalska, Xavier Gagnepain, Alain Meunier, Michel Strauss, Gregor Horsch (principal of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra), Ludwig Quandt (principal of the Berliner Philarmonic) and Arto Noras. In September 2009 she is accepted in the Baremboim orchestral academy of Seville (Spain) to receive lessons from Elena Cheah, where she studies with her until December of the same year. In chamber music she has received lessons from Cuarteto Casals, Keneddy Moretti, Humberto Armas, Dmitry Ferschtmann, Alfredo Bernardini, Johannes Leertouwer and Cuarteto Quiroga.
 
She has been principal cellist of the National Youth Orchestra of the Netherlands, being conducted by Reinbert den Leeuw, Anssi Karttunen, Oliver Knussen, Josep Pons and Paul Mcreesh. She's also been conducted by other well-known conductors like Joana Carneiro, Jesús Lopez Cobos, Otto Tausk, Marco Bons, Ricardo Casero, Ziva Ploj, Klaus Harp, Ed Spaanjard, Juan Luís Martinez, Karl Anton Rickenbauer, Bruno Aprea, Miquel Ortega, Oliver Knussen,Yan Pascal Tortelier, Sir Neville Marriner... in many different orchestras. She has been member of youth orchestras like European Youth Orchestra (EUYO), Verbier Festival Orchestra, Joven Orquesta Nacional de Cataluña, Joven Orquesta Sinfónica Solidaria de Valencia, Maribor International Orchestra (as principal ), the World Jeneusses Musicales Orchestra, Jeneusses Musicales from Uruguay Orchestra and Camerata Aragón. She's played with very well-known soloists like Lucas Macías, Eric Terrwiliger, Nicolas Chumachenko, Franco Petracci, Wolfam Christ, Dmitri Tsirin, Javier Perianes... among others. She has given concerts in great concert halls around Spain, France, Belgium, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Austria, Denmark and The Netherlands (Concertgebouw of Amsterdam, Queen Elizabeth Hall of Antwerp, Doelen of Rotterdam, Danish Radio Concert Hall of Copenhague, Kursaal -San Sebastián-, Auditorio Nacional de Madrid, Palau de la Música de Valencia, Palau de la Música Catalana -Barcelona-, Auditori i Palau de Congressos de Barcelona, Auditorio de Zaragoza...). In July 2011 she plays like a soloist of the Royal European Ensemble wiith Vesko Eschkenazy (concertmaster of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra) in Madrid. She has played with many professional orchestras like Orquesta de Euskadi, Orquesta Filarmónica de Valencia, and Orquesta de Cadaqués, where she is co-principal cellist. In March 2009 she is invited by the Symphony Orchestra Academy of the Pacific in Canada by the conductor Arthur Arnold and she has also been invited by the Ligeti Academy of Amsterdam.
 
After having completed her master studies at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with the professors Monique Bartels and Floris Mijnders, Mireya is playing with the Spanish National Orchestra during the season 2013/2014 and at the same time she is doing another orchestral master degree at the Robert Schumann Hochschule of Düsseldorf.
Mireya plays on a Guust François cello (Amsterdam, 2001) model Alessandro Gagliano (Napoli, 1695- 1737) on loan from the "Nationaal Muziekinstrumenten Fonds".
