Ksenia Milyavskaya is, despite her young age, already known as a brilliant violinist. She is a representative of the famous Russian school of violin founded by Yuri Yankelevich which has produced the likes of Belkin, Kotorovych ...
Ksenia began to study violin with Maestro S. Shalman at the Special School of Music in St. Petersburg and at the age of nine she performed her first concert as a soloist with orchestra.
From 1999 to 2007 she participated in the production of the fifteen-lesson film "I will be a violinist."
She also took part in the Master of Masters-classes of world renowned artists such as E. Grach, S. Kravchenko, S. Accardo and many others thus expanding her already strong technical and musical background. In 2012 she graduated from the "Zuyd University" (Maastricht) from the class of Master B. Belkin.
As a soloist she has played in Germany, the UK, Greece, Finland, Ukraine, Lithuania, Italy, etc… She has also performed as a soloist in numerous concerts with the National Academic Orchestra and the Philharmonic Orchestra of St. Petersburg, always gathering unanimous and enthusiastic acclaim from audiences and critics.
From 2009 to 2012 she taught the violin at the Music Academy of Florence and since 2010 she has taught at the International Piano Academy "Incontri col Maestro" in Imola, conveying the passion of the teachings of the prestigious Russian school.
Plays a violin by A.S. Bernardel 1850 and a bow by G. Lucchi (Cremona).
