CROATIAN PHILHARMONIC ASSOCIATION  
goals are the creation of a recognized body of national musical-cultural identity, the promotion of Croatian musical heritage, and the development and recognition of musical performance in Croatia and abroad.
The Croatian Philharmonic Association was founded accordance with Chapter 11 of the Law on Associations by the founding assembly of the Association on 25 Dec 2003. Section 6 of the association’s charter defines its goal: “The development and furthering of orchestral music performance in the Republic of Croatia, as well as the support of domestic compositions and of young musicians.”
            From the activities of the Croatian Philharmonic per Chapter 7 of the charter:
·         staging public performances by members of the Croatian Philharmonic
·    offering and organizing assistance to all the members of the society in all matters relating to professional, artistic and society activities
·    developing a program of musical activities for the purpose of economic development as well as the cultural representation of Croatia abroad
·        following activities of foreign and domestic musicians and featuring them in Croatia
·         assisting the creative activities of Society members
·        publishing, popularizing, and organizing performances of Croatian composers, thereby developing cooperation with the Croatian Society of Composer
·         developing a program of musical activities for philanthropic purposes.
 
CROATIAN CHAMBER PHILHARMONIC - Zagreb
The orchestra Croatian Chamber Philharmonic was founded in 2006 as part of the Croatian Philharmonic Association.
The section leaders of the orchestra are members of the ensemble Quodlibet (founded in 1990) which has appeared in Croatia, Germany, Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and on the major humanitarian concert Nachbar in Not (Neighbor in Need) for ORF-Wien live in 1993.
The Croatian Chamber Philharmonic performed at the opening of the Multimedia Center in Rovinj (2006) and at the gala concert of the opening of newly rebuilt Krapina Festival Hall (2007). They performed in Austria - Christmas Concert in Stefaniensaal, (Graz -December 2007), Festival of the Croatian Music in Peterskirche (Vienna -November 2010) as well as in Slovenia - Piran Musical Evenings  (Piran - July 2011.) and Gala Christmas – Newyear's  Concert  (Portorož - December 2011.) with great success and a critics alike.
Orchestra took place at Croatian Festivals: Musical Evenings in St. Donat (Zadar),  Osor Musical Evenings (Osor) and The Days of Miroslav Miletic (Sisak). They have
worked with prominent conductors as Pavle Dešpalj, Mladen Tarbuk, Luka Vukšić, Marija Ramljak and Roumanian conductor Florin Totan.
