Jazz Funk Hip-Hop
Der Saxophonist Oliver Marec (geb. 1992) stammt aus Deutschland und lebt in Wien, seit er sich in für sein Master-Studium im Fach Jazz-Saxophon einen der begehrten Plätze am MUK (MusikUndKunst-Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien, ehem. Konservatorium) bei Andy Middleton sichern konnte. Er studierte an der Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg bei Klaus Graf, Hubert Winter und Steffen Schorn und schloss sein Bachelor-Studium im Juli 2015 mit der Note „sehr gut“ ab.
Seit 2008 ist er Mitglied im Landesjugend-Jazzorchester Bayern unter der Leitung von Harald Rüschenbaum.
Oliver Marec spielte bereits mit Peter Tuscher, Johannes Herrlich, Joris Dudli, Wycliffe Gordon, Jay Ashby, Kim Nazarian, Marcio Bahia, Jovino Santos Neto, Dusko Goykovic, Scott Robinson, Paulo Morello, Helmut Kagerer, Claus Raible, Paulo Cardoso, Guido May, Bernhard Pichl, Klaus Graf, Steffen Schorn, Vladimir Kostadinovic, Roman Schwaller, uvm.
