Stephany Pena (Mezzo Soprano) was in born in the United States. She graduated from the Conservatory of Vienna with Professor Uta Schwabe and simultaneously specialized in Operetta with Professor Wolfgang Dosch. Her career has led her to perform in various countries in South America, United States, and Europe giving concerts in Colombia, Chile, Austria, Germany, United States, and Japan which led her to perform in some of the most prestigious concerts halls including the Ehrbarsaal in Vienna as well as the ORF Radiofunkhaus, The Broward Center for the performing arts in Miami, Mozarthaus, Theater Baden, and Theater Bruck an der Leitha. From 2008- 2010 she joined the Little Theater Star agency in Aventura, Florida which led her to perform in many different venues in Florida including: Aventura mall, Fontainbleau Hotel and Downtown Disney mainstage. She made her professional debut in 2010 performing the role of the Witch in Stephen Sandheim's Into the Woods.
In 2012, she interpreted the role of LaVendedora in Manuel de Falla's La Vida Breve at the Marburg Festspiel in Germany. That same year, she toured with the Vienna State Opera Chorus where they performed Ana Bolena and Le Nozze di Figaro at the New National Theater in Tokyo as well as in theYokohama Opera house. In 2013, she performed the role of Czipra from Johann Strauss' Zigeunbaron with the Vienna International Opera Academy performing at the VHS theater in Vienna. In 2015, she won a prize at the Fidelio. Spezial Competition in Vienna hosted by ORF radio station. This award led her to record her first CD with her pianist Christian Leal in which they interpret a cycle of Latin American and Spanish songs.
In 2016, she made her debute at the TAG theater in Vienna with the role of Zenobia from Milloecker's Gasparone. In the summer of 2016, she performed the role of Bül Bül from Leo Fall’s Die Rose von Stambul at the Lehar Festival in Bad Ischl. She recently joined Live Music Now! and Vita Activa concert agency. Stephany Pena has worked alongside prestigious Dramatic sopranos including Shirley Close and Elizabeth Hagerdorn (USA).
