Quirky and humorous, alternating reverie and irony toward many a tradition, Nitsan Bernstein's Hebrew Cabaret sizzles and shines, presenting a mixture of originals and dusty diamonds from our century and the previous one.

Nitsan Bernstein is an Israeli born singer-songwriter and performance artist, currently based in Berlin.
Her musical and artistic taste are influenced by her multifaceted roots and childhood landscapes: from Blues and Jazz to Klezmer and Classical music that were the soundtrack of her childhood, through Rock and Jazz singing in her later years, to reconnecting with her East European family roots through Balkan, Middle Eastern and Arabic music which was a natural part of her growing up in Jerusalem, it all comes to life in her music.

Nitsan's debut album, featuring the stalwarts of Berlin's world music scene, is planned to be released in the coming year.
