Alexandra Prodaniuc was born in a small town in Romania called Satu Mare.She began her piano studies at the age of 5 with Prof Kis Tünde at the Highschool of Music and Fine Arts‚‘‘Aurel Popp‘‘,Satu Mare. After 2 years she became a studen of Prof Manfredi Annamaria,same period she started joining piano competitions. She has won several competitions,including National Competition ‚‘‘Lira de Aur‘‘ Suceava,Romania,‘‘Carl Czerny‘‘ Competition Satu Mare,Romania in 2005; as well as ‘‘ Carl Filtsch‘‘ International Competition 3rd place in Sibiu,Romania and Internation Competition ‘‘The best pianist‘‘ in Sighetu Marmatiei,Romania.She took part in a few Master Courses,including Young Musicians Summer Academy from 2005-2007 with Mihally Duffek in Debrecen,Hungary ;and Sommerkurs für junge Pianisten in 2005,Plauen-Germany, with Andreas Pistorius.In 2007 she became a student of Prof. Franz Zettl at the Konservatorium Privat-Universität in Vienna,who was later on followed by her current professor and pianist-Doris Adam.She became a finalist of the International Yamaha Competition in Vienna,as well as a Semifanlist of Ettlingen International Piano Competition in Germany.She has won in collaboration with Yukika Nishida,The National Austrian Competition ‘‘Prima la Musica‘‘,cathegory Piano Duo,and also performed together at the Steinway Piano House in Vienna.Alexandra Prodaniuc has performed as a solist several times with the National Philarmonic Orchestra of Satu Mare;she took part of Konservatorium Wien Projects ‘‘Carte Blanche‘‘ and ‘‘Virtuosity Project‘‘ performing in Gläsernen Saal of Musikverein.She has worked with pianists like: Daniel Barenboim, Paul Badura-Skoda, Jura Margulis, Heinz Medjimorec, Mauricio Vallina, Henri Sigffridsson, Roberto Turin and Meira Farkas.
