Virginia Amariοtaki was born in Heraklion of Crete and began her musical studies at '' Synchronon Conservatory of Crete'' and she continued and completed her studies by succeeding in Diploma exams with high honours in 2007 under the tutoring of Liza Zoi and Evangelos Asimakopoulos.
During the last few years, she has attended the most significant music performances (concerts, recitals, contests etc.) as well as master-classes made by eminent artists such as Roland Dyens, David Russell, Vladimir Mikulka, Jerry Willard, Richardo Gallen etc.; as a result, her knowledge and musical flair have been cultivated whereas her recitals have been broadcasted on television in Greece and abroad.
In 2008, she came out on top in the Guitar Contest that took place in Patras' Festival.
In 2010, during the 19th Guitar Festival of Patras, her co-operation with Aris Garoufalis has conduced to an excellent recital; in February 2011, she collaborated with Philharmonic Orchestra of Patras as a soloist.
In February 2012, she co-operated with the distinguished piano soloist Alexandra Papastefanou.
Finally, after her graduation from the Economics Department of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, she nowadays teaches at ''Nakas Conservatory'' and ''Athenaeum Conservatory''.
