Tal Katsir - singer and composer - studied music at Oxford University and has performed across Europe, Central America and her native Israel with many different orchestras and ensembles. In her new show Occitania, Tal performs with a full band (guitar, double bass, violin and percussion) combining the sounds of contemporary folk music with the colours and lyrics of the Middle Ages.
Occitania is a fascinating combination of old and new; a reworking of some of the world's oldest music that is at the same time both stunningly original and gloriously, mysteriously, Medieval.
