Acapella vocal group is a professional group that has 10 members, all educated in music, which on a voluntary basis and under the guidance of conductor Mr. George Miron, have managed over 12 years of work to become known and appreciated in the Romanian and internationally musical landscape. The group has a varied repertoire which includes carols and Christmas songs, Romanian folk songs, religious songs, negro-spirituals songs, vocal jazz and cross-over pieces from international repertoire. The group has four albums on the market, albums which present Romanian and international carols and Christmas songs interpreted in an original way.
Over the years, Acapella vocal group toured in Europe and the U.S. and always impressed the audience with his artistic programs. The group has participated in TV shows in Germany and has performed in famous halls and cathedrals from Vienna, New York or Washington. The Group was selected from 1000 artists and had the great honor to perform in a Christmas concert at the White House. Also, ACAPELLA has received the First Prize and the Great Prize at a prestigious international contest from Vienna. In 2007, ACAPELLA has participated with 5 different concerts in the European Capital of Culture Sibiu. At present, the group is part of the ACAPELLA Cultural Association, association that has as purposes the promotion of young Romanian artists and of the high quality of the artistic acts.
