Alon Reuven has started his horn studies at the age of ten, with his teacher Yaacov Kling .
His first solo debut , in the age of twelve , wWas the first link in a chain of solo performances , in Israel and abroad .
Alon has performed as a chamber player in all the leading chamber music series and festivals . Apart from being a principal horn of the Israel Camerata , Alon is active as a session player and as such he has recorded a contemporary jazz CD with "Yedid " ensamble and participated in the recording of several rock CD 's .
Alon is active as a teacher and lecturer and teaching French horn playing as well as classes in the field of french horn history and wind instruments techmique. His solo C.D. "Hornquest" has been released by "Meridian records".
