Anna Volovitch

Anna Volovitch performs regularly as a soloist and chamber musician in the USA, Europe, and Asia. Her versatile repertoire covers a wide variety of styles, from baroque to contemporary music, and her elegant yet powerful touch continues to be recognized by audiences around the world.

Ms. Volovitch started taking piano lessons at the age of six at the Kazan Music School for Specially Gifted Children in Russia. She graduated with honors from the Kazan State Conservatory, in the class of Professor Elfiya Bournasheva, and received an Artist Certificate from Azusa Pacific University in California, USA. She holds a Masters Degree with distinction from The Longy School of Music in Boston, MA, where she studied with Randall Hodgkinson. In Vienna she has studied privately with Prof. Franz Zettl and the great Paul Badura-Skoda.

Throughout her career Ms. Volovitch has won top prizes in over ten national and international competitions in several countries; and has participated in the world’s top contests, such as Tchaikovsky International Competition, Cleveland International Piano Competition, and Queen Elisabeth International Piano Competition.

These many accomplishments led Ms. Volovitch to perform extensively as a soloist with several orchestras in the USA and Europe and in solo recitals in Austria, Belgium, England, Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, Spain, Denmark, Russia, the USA, Colombia, Ecuador, China, Japan, and Indonesia.

Recent performances include: Liszt Festival Raiding, a concert-tour in China as a soloist representative for Bösendorfer Pianos, a performances of Mozart's Piano Concerto No.23 and Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto no.1 with the Junge Philharmonie Wien, radio broadcasts for RadioKlassik (Vienna), Brahms Museum Mürzzuschlag, and in April 2017 her solo-debut at the famous Wiener Musikverein (Tasten.Lauf Zyklus).

Anna currently lives in Vienna, Austria.
