Aravind Bhargav, a passionate, Vibrant, South Indian Carnatic Classical Mandolin Performing artist, has been learning Classical Music under the tutelage of Mandolin Maestro, Padmasri U Shrinivas and Sri U Rajesh from a very early age. Born on 23rd April 1991, Aravind Bhargav hails from a musical family. He debuted in the year 2008 and has been performing consistently since June 2009 (over 200 concerts so far) in all major Sabhas and Organisations in Chennai, Coimbatore, Devakottai, Cuddalore, Thanjavur, Tirunelveli, Hyderabad, Guntur, Amalapuram, Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore, Hosur etc. including recent tour of Jaffna, Srilanka in Aug 2012 and kerala in Oct 2012. Aravind Bhargav is also an empanelled artist of Tamilnadu Iyal Isai Nataka Mandram from 2012. Title “Sunaada Gaana Jhari’’ by Gana Mukundapriya on 2nd Jan 2013. Won 3rd place at the MUGAM International Music Festival held at Baku, Azerbaijan, from 15th March to 19th March 2013, with the privilege of being the solo foreign team to have reached the top 3 and the youngest participant at the festival. AAROHANAM – Series of unique jugalbandi concerts with Rohan Dasgupta on Sitar, Sri Udai Mazumdar on Tabla and Sri Sherthalai Anantakrishnan in Chennai and Banglore, April 2013. Received the 'Pragna Puraskar' on 28th April 2013, from the honorable former Chief Justice of High Court AP and present Judge of Supreme Court, Sri Chandra Bose, Courtesy Andhra Cultural & Welfare Society, New Delhi. Performed a Jugalbandi (AAROHANAM) concert for TCHAIKOVSKY music festival at Russian Cultural Center – ‘Classical December’ on 19th Dec 2013, in association with Sabhash.com.
