Pascale Van Os (1987) started to play the piano at the age of 9 and the violin at the age of 12 in the music school of Herenthout (Belgium). She graduated for both instruments with the highest distinction. In 2005 she continued her piano studies at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp with Levente Kende, Heidi Hendrickx and Nikolaas Kende. Violin she studied like a second instrument with Dirk Verelst, Vegard Nilsen and Guido De Neve. In 2010 Pascale was admitted to the Master of Choral Conducting with Luc Anthonis and Geert Hendrix and for the Master of Orchestral Conducting with Ivo Venkov and Koen Kessels at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. In June 2013 she graduated with high distinction for choral conducting. In June 2014 she will graduate for orchestral conducting. She was admitted to masterclasses orchestral conducting with Robin Engelen, Romolo Gessi, Lior Shambadal, Giancarlo Andretta and Konrad von Abel and conducted "het Collectief" (Belgium), the strings of the Berliner Symphoniker, l'Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto (Italy) and the Philharmonic Orchestra "Mihail Jora" (Romania). She is the conductor of the Chamber Orchestra Stringendo in Boutersem, the OLV-choir in Bouwel, the Katarina choir in Stabroek and the Vocal Ensemble Caloroso in Wommelgem. In August 2011 she conducted the Classical Symphony of Prokofiev, Variations on a Rococo Theme of Tchaikovsky and the 4th Symphony of Mendelssohn with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Rousse (Bulgaria). In December 2011 she was the winner of the Conducting Competition organized by Klara, the Flemish Classical Radio and conducted the Chamber Orchestra of Belgium. In November 2012 she was a finalist in the Conducting Competition for young conductors "Peter Maag" organized by l'Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto (Italy). In July 2013 she won with the Vocal Ensemble Caloroso the 2nd prize in the category Chamber Choirs on the LLangollen International Musical Eisteddfod 2013 in Wales.
