As soloists Philharmonic Concert Association GBUK "Moskontsert" graduates of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory brilliant violinists Ivan Pokrovsky and Julia Pokrovsky created a unique duo, who won the love of Moscow public.
Professionalism and full-blooded approach to life, romantic impulse and virtuoso coherence, beauty of sound and ensemble clarity, improvisational freedom and the constant search for new - all determine a creative person like-minded musicians Ivan and Julia. Their repertoire includes works of composers of different styles and genres - Vivaldi, Bach, Haydn, Handel, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Mendelssohn, Grieg, Tchaikovsky, Shostakovich, Prokofiev, Schnittke, Bartok, Kreisler, Sarasate, concert pieces Gade and Andersen, Chaplin and Piazzolla, Kern and Joplin, processing and transcriptions of other composers, as well as works by contemporary composers written especially for the duo.
