Duo Scaramouche May 11, 2013

Scaramouche: To illustrate the repertoire for piano duet and for two pianos in their richness, both classical and contemporaneous, sharing the joy, the sense of movement which are its own idea of music, the duo wanted to study the rhythm of dancing, to combine both repertoires; French and International, to make a discover, with world creation or rediscover unheard accents.
Refusing practisism in order to open out on the world, Duo Scaramouche wanted to multiply meetings, they interpreted, as first performance in France, on the "France Musique" radio program "En noir et blanc" the sonata for two pianos and especially composed for them, the concerto for two pianos and string orchestra, by Andrew Downes, the director of the Institute od Composition and Creative Studies of the University of Birmingham, in England.
The Duo has worked with Alexander Jenner in Vienna and Bruno Rigutto in Paris and they have improved their art with Russian pianist Réna Shereshevskaia.
The Duo Scaramouche graduated as piano duo at the Chigiana International Academy in Siena, in Katia Labèque's class.
The Duo Scaramouche is composed of Malvina Renault-Vièville and Filippo Antonelli.
